Immofinanz Company Blog

Dear Readers,

On behalf of IMMOFINANZ, I would like to welcome you to our company blog and provide you with a brief introduction to our company and our blog.

A new chapter has begun in the history of IMMOFINANZ

Since the height of the financial crisis in 2008, IMMOFINANZ has undergone a fundamental transformation. We have developed from a pure real estate manager to a real estate machine. Our activities are now focused on the office, retail, logistics and residential segments in our eight core markets of Austria, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania and Russia. We devote all of our attention to coordinating our three core areas of business:

  • the development of sustainable, specially designed prime properties in premium locations,
  • the professional management of our standing properties, and
  • cycle-optimised sales.

Our asset management plays a key role in this process by ensuring that rental income increases while vacancies are reduced.

Our transaction team is constantly active on the market and remains in touch with all of the relevant players in order to recognise potential sales options early and take advantage of profitable disposal opportunities. After all, the liquid assets generated by these sales are what fuels our business: They flow into new development projects and keep the machine running.

This brings us to our development team – our newest operational department. The decision to create a separate commercial development department was made at the end of 2010 – looking back, this was the first step towards becoming a real estate machine. With more than 50 employees now, it is clear how important in-house developments have become to our company.

Exciting stories – on the front lines and behind the scenes

You can probably imagine how varied our work is and that a lot of exciting things go on behind the scenes as well: How do we prepare financing? What experiences do our teams go through in the core markets? Which topics are our experts currently dealing with? What trends are emerging in the real estate industry? And so on.

With our company blog, we aim to provide you with authentic insight into our company. Get to know IMMOFINANZ from a new perspective. Over 15 IMMOFINANZ experts have decided to share reports of their personal experiences and provide their insights in order to give you a deeper understanding of our company and its environment.

Our aim: a lively dialogue

Interaction and dialogue – the IMMOFINANZ Company Blog aims to incorporate both of these things. We invite you to contact us. Let us know what you think about the topics that are brought up, what sparks your interest and how you like our blog and the posts. Give us feedback. We look forward to an active exchange with you!

The contributions by our bloggers are written in German. Since we are interested in a cross-border dialogue, all contributions will be translated from German into English, and vice versa, within 48 hours on working days.

However, it is important to us not just to enter into a dialogue with you, but also to know who we are communicating with. Our bloggers use their real names and provide personal information about themselves. Although this is unusual in social media, we would like to ask you to do the same. Please take a minute or two to register, and then the flow of communication can begin. Thank you very much!

The entire editorial team looks forward to exciting discussions with you!

Best regards,
The IMMOFINANZ Company Blog Team
