On 9 February 2012 IMMOFINANZ Group received the “Extended/Refurbished Project of the Year“ award from EuropaProperty for the second phase of the Silesia City Center. This annex, which was developed directly by the Group, opened in October 2011 and has since enjoyed great popularity, with 300,000 visitors counted in the first week alone. With 86,000 sqm of selling space and a total of 310 shops, the Silesia City Center is one of the top five shopping centers in Poland.
The CEE Retail Real Estate Awards were presented this year for the fourth time by the portal EuropaProperty. On 9 February 2012 in Warsaw, well-known retailers and investors from nine countries were honoured in over 20 categories. Am 09. Februar 2012 erhielt die IMMOFINANZ Group für die zweite Phase des Silesia City Center den von EuropaProperty verliehenen Award „Extended/Refurbished Project of the Year“. Die als Eigendevelopment realisierte Erweiterung wurde im Oktober 2011 eröffnet und erfreute sich von Anfang an großer Beliebtheit: Schon in der ersten Woche wurden 300.000 Besucher gezählt. Mittlerweile zählt das Silesia City Center mit 86.000 m2 Verkaufsfläche und 310 Shops zu den Top-5-Einkaufszentren in Polen.
Das Portal EuropaProperty hat die CEE Retail Real Estate Awards heuer bereits zum vierten Mal vergeben. Am 09. IMMOFINANZ Group sells inner city palace in Vienna

IMMOFINANZ Group, Austria’s largest real estate investor and developer, has sold a historical inner city office building in Vienna to a private asset management firm. This property was built in 1718 as the Batthyány Palace and is located at Bankgasse 2 in the first district. The EUR 22 million sale price for this property with over 3,300 sqm of rentable space exceeds the carrying amount by more than 30%.
“Vienna is currently experiencing an increase in the demand for prime properties at central locations, and selling prices are consequently attractive.
